Spring Break was a blast!!! We spent the whole week in California at the Newport Coast Villas where we enjoyed the wonderful pools, hot tubs, putting green, basketball courts, King Titan's Cove (a kids hang out), billiards, ping pong, giant chess and checkers, a great Easter Egg Hunt, watching conference, going to the beach, playing football, and enjoying being together. Jaclyn and Tony even came and spent Sat. evening with us. It was great to see them. We wish everyone could have been there...it's getting really impossible to coordinate everyone's schedules!
Listening to a time share presentation was so worth getting to spend a week there!!!
Taylor and Kaden entered a Kids Iron Chef Competition. They were given a secret ingredient (Craisins) and 20 minutes to come up with a recipe... The kid's creation was all kinds of fresh fruit with Magic Shell chocolate drizzled over the top with whip cream and crushed Oreos...and they added Craisins to the chocolate chip cookie dough that was already in the fridge...and wa-la...Cookie Monster. Their creation won best presentation out of 14 entries.
They had a blast and it really tasted good too!
