Tradition

This year was our 8th annual neighborhood Christmas get together for feeding the homeless. Thanks to Keri and the wonderful Lords family, this is always our favorite Christmas memory. The kids start talking about it, and want to know when we're going, before the first Christmas decorations are hung:)
I'm so grateful to Keri and her family for starting this wonderful tradition all those years ago...
This picture was taken in 2007... wow, have the kids have grown up! Our numbers are shrinking!!

We put together over 500 sack lunches and made about 100 scarves...

Cute kids on our way to go deliver sack lunches in 2007

This sweet homeless baby girl melted our hearts.
The kids found a toy in the car and gave it to her...she smiled the biggest smile and was so happy with this little gift. It sure puts things in perspective.
