Blessings

On Thanksgiving night our daughter Leah was in a car accident. We are so grateful it wasn't any worse and that she is expected to have a full recovery. She is still in ICU and has some head injuries and an injured spleen, but she should be moved to a regular room today. Keep her in your prayers. Get well soon LeeLee...We all LOVE you!

Last night Allyn, Amy and I were watching White Christmas with Bing Crosby...I love it. I love the song that goes... "When your worried and you can't sleep, just count your blessings instead of sheep...and you'll fall asleep counting your blessings." I am going to try to count my blessings each day...I have so many, and so very much to be grateful for.
Here are just a few pictures from Thanksgiving Day...It was a wonderful day...

Funny Boys

Kids say the funniest things!

Jennie: "What stinks around here?!"
Kids: "EEEWWWW! It's Dad's feet"
Next Day...
Jennie: "Jackson that's terrible, did you toot?"
Jackson: "Well, I smelled Dad's feet and it came out my butt!"
funny, funny boy.
Kaden: "Grama can I watch TV on the big TV"
Me: "Sure Kaden. Do you want Nickelodeon or Disney?"
Kaden: "GRAMA...(roll of the eyes)... SPORTS CENTER!"
football psycho boy.
Kate got to play in Aunt Amy's jewelry...Princess Kate was a very happy Princess!

Dog pile on Kaden!!!! Even Levi got in on the action!

FHE Fun

There were thirteen of us at the movies last night! We all wanted to see Madagascar 2...so it was a unanimous decision... we had a great time. Caleb and a few of the girls were the only ones who would pose for a picture!

Kaden scored two touchdowns in his football game on Saturday... Kaden = Stud!
It was a little difficult to make Sunday dinner...I couldn't have without Amy's help! But it was fun to have everyone over. My arm is actually doing great... it is amazing what doctors can do. I am starting to get some more movement back...I am actually typing with two hands!! I will forever beep when going through airports...thanks to the plate and screws holding my bone together...but it is totally worth it, rather than a full arm cast for eight weeks!!!
I am so grateful that it wasn't worse...and I promise to hold on to hand railings from now on...can't quite promise about the slowing down part...but I will try. Thanks again for all of the love and well wishes.

Update on Mom.

Hello fellow bloggers. My mom wanted me to write a quick update for her. Her big cast makes it a little tough to type. : ) So...she had a pretty big surgery on Saturday. The doctors said everything went well, but she's still in quite a bit of pain. Gratefully, today is better than yesterday, and hopefully tomorrow will be better than today.
She's looking forward to healing and getting back to her regular, busy life.

My Mom genuinely appreciates all of your love and support. The flowers, and cards, and cookies, and even plastic shower gloves for her cast have all been so thoughtful and wonderful.
Thank you from all of us! I'm excited to try the drumstick ice cream...

We love you, Mom!!
