It was a beautiful day in Laguna Beach ten days ago.
And although it was peaceful and serene, our hearts were breaking as we said farewell to our angel Caleb one last time. Brian chose to have Caleb's frail little body cremated and his ashes spread in the ocean, a place that Caleb dearly loved. I'm not going to pretend that wasn't hard for us, as we had really wanted Caleb to be buried by his mommy, but great peace and comfort came, and we were able to support whatever Brian felt was the right thing to do. As we bid farewell for this life... the tears flowed, our hearts ached, and sincere prayers were said for this amazing, joyful, wonderful little boy who we all loved with all our hearts.
We love you Caleb to the moon and back and forever and ever. Until we meet again, we will remember your laugh, your light, your infectious smile and the joy that you lived and shared everyday of your life. You will inspire us to be better, to love more, and to give freely everyday of our lives. You really are our angel.
Families Are Forever
"The Lord compensates the faithful for every
loss. That which is taken away from those who love the Lord will be
added unto them in His own way. While it may not come at the time we
desire, the faithful will know that every tear today will eventually be
returned a hundredfold with tears of rejoicing and gratitude."
