Tonight at football practice Kaden went for a diving tackle and hurt his arm really bad....really bad. He played at quarterback and threw a few more plays and even ran for 20 yards...with a broken arm!!!! His dad just called from the hospital and the x-rays showed the break in his right arm just above his wrist. He is quite happy about not going to school tomorrow and not writing for a while but when we told him no sports for six weeks...

I tried to cheer him up by telling him that it won't affect his reading ability.
For some reason that did not make him smile. Poor Kaden.
