4:00 am is the wake-up call for Ally tomorrow!! She leaves for Madrid, Spain for a BYU Study Abroad for the next 3 1/2 months... Amy and Ally will be on completely different sides of the world. Ally has been wanting to do a study abroad for a long time and we are so grateful that this one worked out. She is excited, a little nervous about finding her way alone at JFK in New York, & happy to be learning Spanish in a beautiful place like Madrid. She and a roomate she hasn't met yet will be staying with a local family while they are in Madrid and they will be going to the nearby university for school...she will be taking 13 credits. It is so cool that she has this awesome opportunity and we are all thrilled for her. We love you Ally Kay!!!
We just got off Skype with Amy ( I love that we can see her and talk to her everyday!) She is doing great and had a great day teaching her little 3, 4 and 5 year olds at Owl Preschool. She and her new friend Stacy will also be teaching English at a nearby university. She has already had some crazy experiences and has eaten more raw fish and strange animal parts than I have ever seen in my life!
This will be fun for the whole family as we try to keep up with our world travelers!

Miss Linda-are you going to be ok? I am so excited for both of the girls...they will love every minute! What adventures for them! I'm sure you need a few days to recover from the packing and stress, but then you might be a little lonely. Want to go to lunch? I'd love to visit!
