Kate, Taylor and Jennie went see the USA Gymnastics team at the Thomas & Mack. They loved it!!!
Thanks Allison (for spoiling them with the tickets)...

Papa Jack loved going to see Wicked...he was quite the celebrity too. He knows so many people!!
The play was just fabulous and the music was incredible...I'm so grateful that we got to go.
These little girls were on the edge of their seats for over 2 hours...loving every minute!

Go Mitt!

Last week we were able to go to the Redrock Hotel and hear Mitt Romney speak. He was amazing! I absolutely support Mitt Romney for President of the United States. I strongly believe that we need someone with integrity and proven leadership to lead our country. We need someone who has business experience, to get our country on the right track again. We need someone who understands that if you don't have it, you can't keep spending it!
OK...I'll get off my soapbox:)
Go Mitt!

Ally got to go with Steven's Grandma LaRayn to hear Mitt speak at the Cox Pavilion at UNLV.
They moved their way right down to the front row and even shook Govenor Ronmey's hand:)

It's that time of year again...

It's time for some football!! Kaden is playing on two teams this season. I know... he is a football fanatic! He plays quarterback for the Fury and running back for the Cowboys. Both teams got wins this week.

Big Day

It was a big day for Kaden today. Look how handsome Kaden and his dad are:)

Kaden became a Deacon and received the Priesthood today... It is such a big honor and responsibility.
I am so proud of him and the wonderful young man he is.

I love this boy... I am so lucky to be his grandma!

MM129 and Our Hero Caleb

I love this picture of Ally, Leah and Jennie at Leah's baby shower when she was pregnant with Caleb.
 Leah and her beautiful babies...

Our Caleb is the happiest, most courageous boy. He is our hero:)
Last Thursday his left leg was amputated because of a neurofibromatosis tumor that had grown on a nerve on his leg to be almost 10lbs. He has suffered with this tumor since he was a baby, but in just the last few months it grew completely out of control. His dad took him to Primary Children's hospital in SLC, where the specialist was, for the surgery. Aunt Jennie was there too and never left Caleb's side:)
Jennie took this picture at 4:30 in the morning...just 8 hours after surgery. Caleb was ready to party, wanted some cookies and said to Jennie, "take a picture of my cool leg!" His attitude and courage brings tears to my eyes. I know that all of the love, faith and prayers of so many (and his angel mom Leah, who I know was with him)...made all the difference. Miracle.for sure. Before the operation the doctors said he would probably be in the hospital for about 5-6 days. He had his surgery Thursday at 5pm and about 20 hours later they were saying he was doing so amazingly well that he could go home. Caleb and his dad flew home Saturday morning and he is doing great!!!
I am beyond grateful... We love you Caleb!!

MM 128

These pictures were taken 30 years ago... September 8, 1982.  We were celebrating Jennie's 4th birthday.
At the time we were living in a trailer on our property while building our home.
Oh my goodness, what sweet memories.
What I really want to know is how can our Jennie be 34 on Saturday?!!
Happy, Happy Birthday Jen...We love you!
I remember we took the kids to see Annie and then came back to the trailer for presents, cake and ice cream.

Bryce, Megan, Jennie, Audree, Emilee and Amber
These guys will be friends forever:)
